Huacaya Alpacas Sold

Delilah is our pride and joy!! We had high hopes for this match of Memory to Avenger, and we were right. Beautiful coloring, amazing crimp and fineness, and arrow staight conformation!! A real knock-out. She is a beauty. Not to mention, she is just a such a sweetheart!

Esta is full accoyo and amazing! Her fine, lustrous, dense, consistent fleece really turns heads. She is just a show stopper! Her sire, Avelunmino, really produced a beauty with his first try! What an easy birth...for us. We were gone to a lacrosse game (as usual), and came home to a newborn. She was dry and up and nursing...perfect. Amazingly, she came running up to greet us. She is still the most friendly cria we've ever had. So sweet. Conformation--right on. Fleece--amazing. It is accoyo-style, boldly crimpy. Just gorgeous. Her name is due to the day of her birth...the day before Easter.

Ella is a lovely little girl. She has a creamy colored fleece that even from afar looks defined! The crimp is amazing. Of course she is fine, and I have no doubt she will be dense given her parentage.

My day started out like most others. As I was leaving to drive one of my kids to a friends', I noticed a dam in labor. Well, to my surprise when I returned I had 2 dams ready to deliver! Guinivere and Lancelot were born within minutes of each other! Imagine my delight when I saw that it is possible to make a brown out of a white!!! Here we have a full Alianza light brown girl! She has the typical tight consistent crimp of most Alianzas. Watching her walk around the pasture in her beautiful form is wonderful. She is simply beautiful.

Kamilla is a rare beauty! She is not only full Alianza, but at least medium fawn and maybe dark fawn. Her fiber is already bundled and dense, not to mention fine. She is a real looker!

Full Alianza and a daughter of the famous Hemingway. She has consistently thrown ultra-finely fleeced cria for us over the years. A real winner!

Gretzen was born on a lucky day...my brother Greg's and my dog ZsaZsa's birthday! Gretzen's locks can be seen from a distance. They are that defined! She is soft and silky. Just lovely!

Vanna comes from a long line of winning genetics. She is 1/4 Accoyo. Her dam, SA Peruvian Vanessa, is an 8x show Champion and a mother of many champions. Vanessa is one of the permanent breeding females at Stachowski Alpacas. Vanna's father is Peruvian HA Shades of Gray, who is also a multiple champion winner. These 2 have been paired repeatedly because of the quality of the offspring they produce. Vanna's fiber has great character and tight crimp. It is bright with a soft handle. Her density is also worth mentioning. We are excited to add her to our breeding program!!

Pria not only chose a bad day to be born, but got all tangled up in the process! We were 2 days away from our daughter's wedding (at our house) and a little busy with preparations. Late that day, I noticed Alita was in labor. It did not progress. The vet was called. Utter exhaustion would not be a good mix with delivering a dystocia. Kathy came and disentangled Pria...yay! What a beauty she is. Always proud and lovely to look at. Pria prances around full of spunk! Her fiber is ultra fine and dense. She has great coverage. We are lucky to have her.

Reagan is just well put together! She has near-perfect conformation and a natural grace. Her huge doe-like eyes make your heart melt. She has silky, bundled fleece. Just plain lovely.

Avelunmino did it! He made a fawn out of a white!! Taylor is a beautiful "blonde" color. She is named for Taylor Swift because of her coloring and crimp. Her fleece is boldly crimpy and so fine! She is a knockout!

Charlize has the classic alpaca conformation. Her fleece is also wonderful. It is very fine and dense. Our shearer last year exclaimed over the handle of her fleece. It is quite lovely. She is a stately alpaca who always seems to be watching over everyone.

Alita is definitly ELITE. She is just a pure beauty. She is such a wonderful color. She is vicuna colored. Her fleece is very lustrous with an extremely high frequency crimp. She has tight crimp and bundles upon bundles of soft fiber. She holds herself very regally also, and she ought to. Her father is Royal Avenger, whose father is Royal Fawn.

This beautiful girl is bred for excellence and standard. Big framed, excellent boned, fineness and crimpy fleece every collectors delight. Snowflake delivered a beautiful, white cria on April 22, 2007. She was a little (or big, actually) spitfire. Weighing in at 19 pounds, she is a big girl. She was literally running around the pasture within an hour of birth. She is so straight, it's a wonder she can stand...what a beauty. Her fleece is amazingly thick for such a young girl!! In 2008...another girl!! Dahlia was another big, strong girl. Dahlia is mostly white, except for a little fawn stripe on the back of each ear and on the top of her head. Her eyes have a "made-up" look. So pretty.

Selena is a full Accoyo new addition to our herd. She is a daughter of the full Accoyo Pachacuti. Her mother is PPPeruvian Angelica who is another full Accoyo import. She was rated a 9 out of 10 in the 1995 import (10 being the best). What a family tree she has. She was bred to Logan, another full accoyo. Full accoyo baby on the ground on June 29th!! She's tiny, but what a powerhouse of gentics!! She weighed in at 13 pounds. She's white with fawn coloring on her topknot. A real beauty!!

Cesariana is the daughter of Peruvian Silver Cesario, a full Peruvian Grey import. Her mother, Skyeview Wild Rose, is a Rose Grey with ancestry to boast about also. Bueno, the full Alianza famous stud of Maple Brook Farm, is Wild Rose's grandfather. Cesariana's family tree is a wonderful starting point. Cesariana's fleece has an amazingly low AFD of only 21.1 microns. She has nice conformation and a good sturdy frame. Her '09 cria, Bandito, has a lot to brag about. It just goes to show that breeding right is important

Full Accoyo with colorS! Just amazing. Pippi already turns heads. Her mother is a Felix daughter who has been a spectacular producer. Her cria from 2006 was a full accoyo light brown that sold for $200,000. Pippi's father, Los Cabos, is a Camilio grandson, with Accoyo Express in the mix. She's got legs! Pippi (who I call Pippi Longlegs) is just beautiful. She has an amazing staple length and just gorgeous coloring! The majority of her body is beige, but she has some "splashes" of color. One big puddle across her back and a few other smaller sections of fawn in other places are lovely surprises on a full accoyo. She is buttery and so silky fine to the touch. She is a very friendly little thing.

Thank you to Tierra Prometida Alpaca Ranch!! Pizazz is another way to "broaden our horizens" in Accoyo!! Our newest addition...new bloodlines for us. Full Peruvian and Full Accoyo. She is daughter of Caligula's Accoyo Poseidon and granddaughter of 6Peruvian Accoyo Powerball. Poseidon is a GORGEOUS male from out west who has had multiple blues and purples(8)!! He also has 12 1sts for Get of Sire. He can really throw them! Pizazz is another of those offspring. She is just old enough to show. We'll see what the judges say about her elite dense and fine fleece. Put all that with her conformation and we have ourselves a winner!

3/4 Accoyo and Brown!!! Just what we've been hoping for!! Rachel is another little sweetheart. Logan certainly passes on his personality...not to mention his crimp. Rachel has grown into a very proud and striking female. Aurora is the proud owner of Rachel and just loves her to death.

If you are looking for grey genetics, Hera is a good choice for you. All of her cria have had the tuxedo markings of the classic greys. She is a wonderful mother. Always easy births and plenty of milk. Hera is a petite girl. She is very easy to handle.

Moonshine is a very pretty girl. She is graceful looking. Her '07 cria was born on the 4th of July!! He's a beautiful bay black boy. He has sensational conformation and fleece!! Moonshine has taken to motherhood very well. She is a doting mother. Her HDF Accoyo Logan cria is quite the spunky thing. I named her Cricket, because she hops everywhere she goes!! She is a beautiful, rose grey. Now, in '09 she has gone white. Damian has a gorgeous fleece and great conformation. What will next year bring? She is being bred to Oracle...the cria is bound to be dense!!!

If you are looking for luster and color, Channel is your girl! She has the shiniest coat and a lot of density, too. The handle of her fiber is absolutely wonderful, also. She is very easy to handle and passes that disposition on to all of her cria. She has thrown white to dark brown. We'll see what happens this year!

If you're looking for "Golden Cross" females, this is one for you. Money's mother is a full Alianza, Laurette. She has great conformation and fleece and passes those qualities down to her daughter. Cross that with full Accoyo Pachacuti's genes and you have a star. Money's cria from the summer of '07 is a lovely white girl named Erica, who recently sold at the Stachowski auction. Her summer of '08 cria, Tundra, is spectacular!! He took the luster and grace from her grandmother, Laurette and the bold crimp and density from his father Accoyo Logan. Her '09 cria, Taylor Swift, has a beautiful face and head with a lot of butter colored fleece. She is just so pretty. Money is a wonderful mother, with no problem delivering enough milk to her cria. She is easy to handle, and she sure does love her grain!!

Look at Sarah's family tree and you will be impressed. She has ancesters from both Alianza and Acero Marka. Sarah is a very pretty girl. Her fleece is crimpy and long. She has great leg coverage. She is one of the best moms on the farm...she even feeds other cria if they need it. Her udder is very impressive. We are repeating our breeding to Avelunmino for next year because of the stunning grey that pair produced this summer. Francisco is a knock-out!

Looking for full Accoyo with impressive lines? Victor has some amazing background. Just check out the ARI's! His fleece is nothing to laugh at either. The crimp and character is distinctive. You have to touch him to appreciate the buttery feel. We are certain he will grow into a herdsire.

Oh my goodness...this guy might be the cream of the crop this year! His fiber has noticeable bundles! I just want to run my fingers through it! He is full Alianza and such a lovely fawn color too!

Talk about a standout! Gatsby is the boy that everyone notices. He has the most adorable face and markings. Then you get close up, and you start to notice his other qualities. His fleece is very dense already. He has a nice crimpy and fine fleece. He is worth a second look.

One morning, Houdini magically appeared! We believe he was born the night before, but due to the rain storm(one of the few of the summer), we never checked the pastures that night. So, Black Magic Man has created Houdini. Houdini is well-conformed with a beautiful fleece. He has some adorable white markings on his face, making me think that Vanna's grey heritage might surface. Let's hope for grey!

Kolden is the picture of perfection. He is a mirror image of his mother at his age. Conformation is right on. His fiber is bundled wonderfully.

Finally, we did it! After much effort and driving we created a Royal Fawn cria! As you may know, Royal Fawn is getting up there in age and is not producing as many offspring. Fonzie was worth the wait! He has such a lustrous coat, he glistens. His fiber is buttery to the touch. His crimp is bold. He already has the Accoyo wrinkling in his neck...hence more fiber production. He is straight and correct...wait til he hits the show ring!

He is the Golden Cross: 1/2 Accoyo and 1/2 Alianza. Density, crimp, fineness, and a famous father(Felix)are his calling cards.. The fleece on him is phenomenal!! Such crimp and density is hard to come by. It is also very bright and fine. He's proud little guy with a wonderful stance. If you look at his neck you will see the multitude of wrinkles...you know what that means, more fleece production. The judge at a recent show commented on his sturdy frame. Another judge commented on his strong build, soft handle and his brightness. And then you need to look at his lineage. He has all of the best in him.

Grey and handsome! Bandito is a real looker. He really catches the eye. He has a wonderfully conformed body. He is very macho. His fleece has a nice crimp and good density. He is certainly heading to the shows!

Tundra is going to be something!! He has such potential. His conformation is wonderful. His fleece is fine and crimpy. The buttery feel of his locks is just the best! He has a beautiful, typey head. Add his powerhouse genetics and you've got a stud. He is 1/2 Accoyo (fawn) and 1/4 Alianza. 2 names we like to see in our ARI's!!
